Welcome L. M. Brown today

Everyone Deserves a Fairy Tale

Hello everyone, and thank you to Dawn for hosting me here again.

For many of us the first stories we hear are fairy tales.  Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and many, many more are the stories we grow up on.  The princes are handsome, the maidens are fair and in the end true love conquers all.

But all fairy tale romances seem to have one thing in common.  They are all traditional romances with a handsome prince rescuing the damsel in distress, whether from a wicked step-parent or an evil curse.

Of course, traditional fairy tales have been re-written for years, with the damsels in distress taking on stronger roles so the modern woman can relate to them better.

For my latest story I decided to give things not only a fairy tale twist, but also a male/male one.  Because everyone deserves a fairy tale romance, no matter the gender of the one they fall in love with.

Prince Aiden is your typical fairy tale prince: Handsome, kind, and on a quest for true love.  He’s also a little on the slow side at times, which, in my opinion, can be said for certain other fairy tale princes.  Cinderella’s handsome prince is either vision impaired or didn’t bother looking at her face all through the ball.

Luckily for Aiden, true love waits for him in the form of Robert, a talented artist who doesn’t believe in fairy tale endings. After all, who ever heard of a handsome prince sweeping a peasant boy off of his feet?

That isn’t to say it couldn’t happen though, and in Let Down Your Hair Aiden and Robert discover that two men can have a happily ever after of their own… albeit with a few bumps along the way.

Blurb

In a world where fairy stories are historical fact, Prince Aiden is on a quest to find a princess to rescue and bring home as his bride. Deep in the Enchanted Forest he finds Robert, a cross-dressing painter who lives alone in his tower. Mistaking him for a woman, Prince Aiden is determined to have Robert as his bride.

When the prince of his dreams shows up at Robert's tower he is far from happy, especially when the handsome prince refuses to believe he is a man. Can he convince Prince Aiden to love him as the man he is, or is their happily ever after doomed from the start?
